Eric (Nathan Bronson) sees his uninhibited roommate Sylvie (Laney Grey) wearing only a long T-shirt. We see hints that he finds her attractive. But Sylvie, a lesbian, only sees Eric as a buddy, and is unaware of his attraction to her. Sylvie reminds Eric that her girlfriend Marian (Spencer Bradley) will be coming over tomorrow. She then removes her T-shirt to put it in the laundry, walking around nude. Unbeknownst to her, Eric looks frustrated and resentful.
